Paddle the Newport Back Bay

with UCI Staff Assembly & Campus Recreation

UCI Staff Assembly SUP (Standup Paddle Boarding)  – 2017

Join UCI Staff Assembly and Campus Recreation for this unique opportunity to enjoy full guided paddles by Outdoor Adventure Staff on the Newport Back Bay.  Campus Recreation will provide the guide, standup paddleboards, personal floatation vests, and all equipment so all you have to do is paddle!  No previous SUP experience needed.  However, for your safety, basic swim proficiency is required. These four exclusive opportunities are available for UCI & UC Irvine Medical Center Staff and a guest.

When: July 18, August 2, August 17 or August 29, 2017
Time: 5:30 – 7:00pm
Where: UCI Crew Base located in the Newport Back Bay
(directions will be provided upon registration)
Cost: Reduced rate for staff and guests $12 per person per session (Children 12 years of age and older are welcome as guests)

Deadline:

Register at the ARC or over the phone by calling 949-824-3738.  Pre-registration required.  Participants must sign a University waiver prior to participation.

 

Advanced registration required.  Space is limited.  Limited to 9 participants for each date.  In fact, consider registering early as these programs have a tendency to fill up quickly.
