UCI Staff Appreciation Picnic – August 27, 2015

Make your plans for the “Anteaterest” picnic ever at the 25th¬†Annual UCI Staff Appreciation Picnic!

This year, the Staff Appreciation Picnic joins the rest of UCI in celebrating the campus’¬†50th anniversary!

Activities include

  • Competition for best Show Your UCI Pride department display
  • “Best” Oldest UCI T-Shirt contest
  • Coolest UCI Water Balloon Toss
  • 3-legged Race for UCI

Pre-registration is not required to attend the Picnic.

We will again have good ole BBQ cuisine for all attendees. Food is complimentary for all Staff. (One serving per person)

The Staff Picnic strives to be a Zero Waste event, so we encourage everyone to bring their own reusable plates, utensils, and beverage containers. Water fill-up stations and a supply of recyclable plates, utensils, etc. will be available if you need them.

All UCI Campus Staff will automatically be included in a paperless random drawing for the traditional Staff Picnic door prizes! Winners will be notified via email after the picnic.

For department table and chair reservations, please email Sarah Prom at Student Center & Event Services with the following information:

  • Department
  • Staff name
  • Phone
  • Campus email
  • # of tables
  • # of chairs
  • Department recharge #
  • Special requests

The deadline for reserving tables and chairs is August 14th.

UCI Staff located at the University Research Park – we will offer continuous shuttles from #110 Theory to Aldrich Loop (in front of the steps by the flagpole). The shuttle will run every 20 minutes starting at 11:40am and ending at 1:50pm.

Please note that space in the park is available on a first come, first served basis. However, in keeping with the open and friendly environment of our Staff picnic, we ask that departments refrain from “roping off” sections of the park.
