Lunch with Leadership has gone virtual! This event provides staff members the opportunity to engage in casual conversation with various UCI leaders. Join us for a virtual lunch featuring Sherry Main, Assistant Vice Chancellor, Public Affairs.
Bio: Sherry Main is the assistant vice chancellor for public affairs. She began her career at UCI as a senior writer for the Office of Admission and Relations with Schools and spent 14 years in various communications and marketing roles across campus. In 2015, Sherry joined UC Santa Cruz as their Chief Communications and Marketing Officer.
In June 2017, University of California President Janet Napolitano appointed Sherry to serve as an advisor to the UC Board of Regents. In her two year term, she brought the voice and perspective of over 200,000 employees to Board discussions.
Sherry serves on the board of directors for The CLUB, a Silicon Valley based incubator and accelerator of women leaders. She is also an active member of Upward Women and a HiPower alumna.
In 2018, Sherry was honored as a Silicon Valley Business Journal Women of Influence for her work in advancing diversity and inclusion.
