The Staff Appreciation Picnic is an annual event hosted by Staff Assembly, a council dedicated to supporting and developing activities serving staff at UCI and UCI Medical Center (UCIMC). The picnic is planned and led entirely by volunteer staff who donate their time to make it a memorable experience. This event is recognized as a time to say ‘Thanks’ to staff for all they do for the UCI community!
The picnic brings together colleagues from all across campus to enjoy a fun and relaxing event with activities, lunch and more! The event is traditionally held on the UCI Campus in Irvine.

Zero-Waste Requirements
The Staff Picnic strives to be a Zero Waste event. Zero waste stations using the 3 bin system (landfill, composting, and recycling) will be available as well as hydration stations for refilling water bottles. To be sustainable, we encourage staff to bring their own reusable plates, utensils, and beverage containers.
